Rhys is Director of Product and responsible for Developer Relations at WhiteSource. He joined WhiteSource in 2019 through the acquisition of his company Renovate Bot, which is an open source-based tool for automating dependency updates.
What happens when a key component of an enterprise solution is also a community open source project with a life of its own? This session will discuss how we manage the sometimes-competing directions of Enterprise software, which wants to be predictable and well-documented, and community open source contributions which are by nature chaotic.
